Yoga for School Children (12 years upwards)
This course supports school children and adolescents on their way to becoming adults.

The yoga lessons are tailored to meet the challenges of the physical and mental changes that happen in this phase of life as well as the demands of the new media, learning and exams that adolescents are confronted with.
Body awareness, balance and inner stability are characteristics that are highly underdeveloped in many adolescents due to the passive way in which the new media (TV, PC etc) is experienced.
Hatha Yoga exercises create a new awareness of one’s own body which in turn creates balance and inner stability. Specific exercises improve posture, the hormonal system is harmonized and mental and physical development is furthered.
Breathing and relaxation exercises lead to the rediscovery of inner calm. The slow pace frees the senses from the hectic impressions of our time and creates new self-confidence.
This enables adolescents to face their fears and worries in a new and strengthened way. Hatha Yoga can be helpful against nervousness before examinations, concentration deficits, inner restlessness and much more.
